The Alpha Delta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., known as the Always Divine chapter, was established on March 15, 1926, on the campus of Morgan College. This chapter's trailblazing history in scholarship, sisterhood, and service spans over 99 years. Its founding leader was Ms. Helen Cantrell Nash, who brought together a group of accomplished women to form this distinguished chapter.
These women include Ms. Lois Brown, Ms. Nellie Colleen Henry, Ms. Mildred Jones, Ms. Francis Priscilla Male, Ms. Mary Short, Ms. Mable Spaudling, Ms. Guinevere Thomas, Ms. Olga Nicholson, and Ms. Charlotte Watson. The Alpha Delta Chapter continues to uphold the high standards set forth by its founding members, inspiring future generations of women to pursue excellence in all endeavors.
